This new expansion focuses on countries squeezed between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany during World War II, which faced the difficult choice of either entering conflict with global superpowers or compromising their ideals for survival. By introducing new national focuses for Hungary, Romania, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia, Death or Dishonor adds new unique events, graphics, and region-specific music, among other features, providing players with new ways to experience—and change—the course of history. Death or Dishonor includes: ★ Four new focus trees: Experience the war from different perspectives by playing as Hungary, Romania, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia. ★ Equipment conversion: Upgrade your arsenal by improving older units, or find a use for captured enemy equipment and technology. New music and graphics: ★ Three new thematic pieces composed by Andreas Waldetoft, new graphical content for the four main countries featured in this expansion, and new voice and cinematic work for military units. ★ New diplomatic actions and interactions with puppets: License military technology to use other states' equipment on the battlefield, or sell your technological advantage to the highest bidder. Fascist countries now have a new level of puppets – Reichskommissariats, which have access to licenses, industry, and strategic resources. Their governments are tightly controlled, making it harder for them to break free.
